Photo Manipulation Series

A photograph manipulation series combining two mediums, photography and drawing. I wanted to explore fantasy and surrealism and I wanted to portray the emotional state and thoughts of someone who is feeling as though they do not fit in, which can be a metaphor for how someone who has social stigmas and does not fit into society. I wanted to do this by creating a conceptual and surrealist style series of two images, increasing the scale of my model while also using a square crop to make her look as though she is a giant in a miniature world confined to a small crop.
